Having grown up in rural Nottinghamshire, I was delighted to move from the suburbs of South West London to Grayshott in 2018 with my wife Susie, and daughter Katherine. We already feel very much at home here and look forward to becoming better acquainted with the area, local community and contributing to its future. After spending my early formative years growing up on a farm, I attended the Army 6th form college Welbeck, followed by the Royal Military College of Science, where I studied Civil Engineering. Medically discharged from the Army in 2007, I commenced a career in civil engineering, working on several projects in the Midlands, before moving to London where I have been involved with major rail infrastructure projects ever since. When I’m not entertaining my daughter in whom I’m encouraging a keen gardening interest, I can be found under the bonnet of my 1965 Series IIA Land Rover, which I’m slowly putting through a rolling restoration.
