Free Home Safety Checks – Could You or Someone You Know Benefit?

Surrey Fire and Rescue Service, working with NHS Surrey Heartlands, is offering free Home Safety Checks to help reduce the risk of falls, fires and cold homes for older or more vulnerable people.

These checks are being carried out by Ellie, a trained Home Safety Check Advisor from Surrey Fire and Rescue Service who works closely with local GP practices. She’ll visit the home, offer friendly advice, check for fire risks and fall hazards, and can even fit free safety equipment if needed.

This service is available to people registered with GP practices in Godalming, Haslemere, Cranleigh, Guildford and surrounding areas.
