The Parish Council own three play grounds and a skate park in the Village.  These are inspected weekly by the Council and a full ROSPA inspection is carried out annually.

If you notice any issues with these areas please report them to the Parish Council.

Lyndon Green play area is located behind the War Memorial in the centre of the Village.

Named after Dr Arnold and Mrs Charlotte Lyndon who gifted the land to the Parish Council in 1904.

A traditional play area suitable for young children.

Littlejohn Corner play area is located on the Recreation Ground next to Beech Hanger Road.

Named after Nancy Littlejohn.

A more adventurous play area with plenty of climbing equipment and a zip wire.

Wooden play ground

Our newest play area at Applegarth Meadow accessed from Tennyson Lane at Applegarth Vale.

Installed by CALA Homes as part of the Applegarth Vale development.

Suitable for young children with balance equipment as well as more traditional pieces.  Perfect place for a picnic.

The Skate Park is located on the northern edge of the Recreation Ground.

It was completed in 2005 with funds raised by the Youth Club and the Parish Council.
