Food waste collections start next Monday

From next Monday (5 October), we’ll be collecting food waste from homes across East Hampshire.

Our distributors are delivering later this week to:
- Calendars 6 and 8
- Flats with communal bin stores
Everyone else should have their caddies.
If you haven’t received your caddies, please complete a general enquiry through MyEHDC and choose ‘I haven’t had my food waste containers delivered’.
Visit our find your bin calendar page if you don’t know your number. |

Know what can go in your caddies?
| We’ve set up a video explaining what can go in your caddies.
| There’s more information on our website about what can (and can’t) go in your food waste caddies and other bins. |

Know when we’ll be collecting it?
| You can look up your food waste collection day (and other collection days) through our website just by finding your address.
Collection days may be subject to change as a result of route testing, so please double-check on 3/4 October to make sure it hasn’t changed. Collections from some homes on our 4×4 hard-to-reach rounds have changed.
When the service launches, you’ll be able to report a missed collection online through the normal form in MyEHDC. |
