Thank you to everyone that took part in our Village Tidy Up last Sunday. We were extremely pleased with the turnout of over 35 people enabling us to cover most of the Village by 11.30am. The focus for the morning was to ensure that the area around the War Memorial was free from weeds and litter ready for the Remembrance Service this coming Sunday.
Grayshott Scout Group leaders, scouts and parents covered the litter pick on the Village Greens and play area. A large team from the RRT/Plymouth Brethren community covered the length of Headley Road to Applegarth Farm and came back with extremely full litter bags. Thank you to these groups. There were an equal number of other residents and councillors that covered the Village centre.
Coffee and cakes were very generously provided by the Kiln Café at Grayshott Pottery to our volunteer litter pickers in recognition of their hard work during the morning.
Parish Council contractors visited the Village on Monday and Wednesday this week to clear leaves and to cut the hedges around the Village Greens. The Remembrance Service will take place at 10.30am
