🚧 Temporary Road Closure: Headley Road (18–25 June 2026)
Scotia Gas Network (SGN) has advised that a short section of Headley Road, between Avenue Road and Glen Road, will be closed 24 hours a day from 18th June to 25th June 2026. This closure is required to allow SGN to install a new gas connection to a property along Headley Road.
For safety reasons, a partial closure or traffic‑light system is not possible during these works.
Access During the Closure
- Shops and footpaths will remain open throughout the works.
- Residents and visitors are encouraged to walk through the village centre wherever possible.
- Parking remains available in both the Headley Road and Crossways Road car parks.
