Dementia Awareness Evening – September 20th at 6pm
Grayshott Parish Council is committed to ensuring Grayshott is dementia friendly, where residents in our community that live with dementia are understood, respected and supported.
The Council will be hosting a Dementia Awareness Evening on Tuesday 20th September at 6pm in the sports pavilion lounge, Beech Hanger Road. We will be running the session with the help of the Hunter Centre in Haslemere. If you would like to attend please get in touch.
Our aim is:
- To ensure that people living with dementia, their carers, families have a voice and can maintain and, where necessary, increase their social contacts
- To develop or contribute to the development of suitable inclusive social activities and services locally for people living with dementia and their carers
- To work in collaboration with local groups and organisations.
