Our speed limit reminder sign has been deployed at two central locations on Headley Road during the last month. The first location was by the Fox and Pelican pub and the second, at the junction with Rockdale Drive. On both occasions cars travelling towards the Portsmouth Road were logged and both sites are in the 20mph zone.

- The deployments in 2020 and 2021 were in August. 12% increase in traffic volume – due to the pandemic?
- Very little difference in statistics on speeds.

Observations
- The deployment in 2020 was in September and in 2021 it was in July. The larger volume of traffic in 2020 is possibly due to school runs
- Small increase in speed and the percentage of speeders
- Speeding is more prevalent on a Monday and Sunday.
