Inspiring festival provides practical help for people living with dementia
Hundreds of people discovered the wide-range of support available to them at East Hampshire Dementia Festival Held on 4 October at Petersfield Festival Hall, the annual drop-in event, run by EHDC and Petersfield Dementia Friendly, was a showcase of services, support groups, charities and organisations available for people and families living with the condition.
Experts in law, mental health and care were on-hand giving professional advice, medical support and real-life practical help and guidance.
This wonderful event featured activities suitable for people with dementia, such as music and crafts, and a chance to meet and chat with people.
