Summer Events

The summer social event was a Garden Party held on August 2nd. Despite torrential rain club members enjoyed the afternoon with a strawberry cream tea, raffle and time to chat with friends, it had been hoped to enjoy a stroll round the lovely garden of Clive & Gill Purkiss which were able to look at from the comfort of the house instead.

Grayshott Flower Club will be meeting on Wednesday 6th September when they will be entertained by Claire Bryant who will be giving a demonstration entitled ‘Space Oddity’. It will be interesting to see her interpretation of this title. ‘Out of the Blue’ is the members competition for this month so we should have a very interesting and colourful evening.
