That was a great audience!

Hi Jazzers
“That was a great audience!” Patrick said to me at the Cork Jazz Festival after The Temperance Seven had given one of their better performances. Years later, on Saturday night at the club, Patrick’s words came back to me. Yes, you were a great audience that night and it should never be underestimated how important the audience is when it comes to creating, along with the band, a vibrant atmosphere at concerts.
Without a doubt Grayshott Jazz Club audiences are becoming known (according to visiting musicians) as one of the most receptive and appreciative jazz fan groups in the country.
Thank you once again for supporting Grayshott Jazz Club.
On Tuesday 25th July we have Binkyless Dixie Demons. Nutty and Martin will be holding the fort alongside special guests – Big John Lee, my old mate John Stewart and Roger Curphy on bass.
I leave it to you to work out who is depping for who!.
Special thanks to Isobel who will be working the raffle in my absence
Have a great night
Mike
