The Parish Council has secured funding for the Christmas lights on the Village Green

/in /by

The Parish Council has received funding from East Hampshire District Council (EHDC) through the Welcome Back Fund to cover the cost and installation of the new Christmas lights on the Village Green.

The Welcome Back Fund, developed by the government as part of the Covid-19 response, comes from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and aims to support the high street and tourist attractions in welcoming back shoppers and visitors.

We are delighted to receive this funding.  The funds will be ringfenced for the ongoing maintenance and replacement of the Christmas lights in the Village.
