Village Assembly – 6.30pm on Friday 26th April
Invitation to your Village Assembly – Friday 26th April starting at 6.30pm at The Village Hall
The Parish Assembly is an annual event – simply a meeting for all residents of Grayshott to come together to discuss matters affecting our village.
This year the evening will be dedicated to current initiatives and events we feel will be of interest to all residents. These include:
- Changes to our priority builds outs and pedestrian crossing points due to be implemented towards the end of 2024
- Recent additions to the youth work in the Village including workshops and a revision and homework club
- Events during National Dementia Week (13th – 19th May) including a Village Fete on 19th May
- Grayshott & District Housing Association’s ambitious plans
- Plans to install a balls games zone, a wheeled sports zone and further facilities for older children at the recreation ground.
Refreshments will be served during the informal part of the evening from 6.30pm including the kind donation of Cheese and Wine from our local Plymouth Brethren Christian Church. Participants can visit exhibits on matters of local interest and learn more about some of our active community organisations and clubs. It provides an opportunity to have informal conversations with your Council and other members of our community.
The more formal part of the evening will start at 7.30pm including a questions and answers session – the Council’s opportunity to hear from you!
Please look out for the complete agenda from mid-April on noticeboards, shop windows and updates on social media and our website.
CALL OUT to community organisations and clubs – if you wish to have a stall or exhibit please get in touch to reserve a space.
