Women-only Conservation Volunteering
HEATH Women is a friendly, women-only volunteering group carrying out practical conservation work on Hampshire’s lowland heathland. The group is part of the National Trust.
Lowland heathland is one of the UK’s rarest habitats, supporting wildlife such as reptiles, birds and specialist plants. Without regular management, heathland can quickly be lost to scrub and woodland, so practical conservation work is essential to keep it healthy and diverse.
Local women are invited to attend an Introduction Day to find out more and try conservation volunteering in a supportive environment. No experience is needed and training is provided.
The Introduction Day is on Tuesday 10 February 2026 between 10am–2pm at Ludshott Common.
