Grayshott’s Teen Recreation Area Project Update: Week 7
Guess what…IT’S FINISHED!
This is the final update on the Skate Park project.
Wonderful news that the project works are now complete and the only item outstanding is the sign-off by Health and Safety.
This week saw all the remaining works completed – the path and activity zone surfaces have been laid, the ball game ‘netball’ hoop is installed, the skate rails and jumps have been installed and the markings all set out.
Frankly it’s been an amazing last week, and I would like to say a huge thank you to the team from Proludic, who have all been fantastic.
What’s Next
On Monday next week we will have the sign-off process, and this may raise a few ‘snagging items’ that will be quickly dealt with.
If you have not been down (which I guess is rather unlikely) to the Recreation Ground recently, please wander down and admire our wonderful new facility.

New Name
We are also rebranding the area as its no longer just a skate park facility – we have added a ball skills zone and an activity zone!
The new name is The REC HUB!! Great name, I know 😊.
As always, if you want to know more, there is an excellent display in the Parish Office setting out the project and the design as well as more information on our website – Although I do think the best impression is offered by visiting.
This is my last update.
Many thanks,
Sean Weir
