New Teen Recreation Area Construction Begins on Monday 3 November

We’re excited to announce that construction of the new skate park at the recreation ground will begin on Monday, 3 November.

The first phase of the project involves installing a new access path to the skate park, designed to improve accessibility for wheelchairs, prams, bikes, scooters, and skateboards. This marks an important step in creating a vibrant, inclusive space for young people and families in our village.

The full design includes a multi-use games area, new skate park equipment and a ‘ninja’ trail.

For your safety, please keep away from the construction area while works are underway. Barriers and signage will be in place, and we kindly ask all residents—especially children and young people—to stay away from the site until the project is complete.

We’ll be sharing weekly progress updates via our website and newsletter, or pop into the Parish Office at the Sports Pavilion if you have any questions.
