EarthDay – Plastics vs Plant

Today, Monday 22nd April 2024,  marks Earth Day.  The theme is Plastics vs Planet.

It’s a time for us to think about our environment, be aware of the health risk of plastics, decide what more we can do to make a difference, positive changes, no matter how small.

Lobbying our MPs and pushing environmental issues/challenges up the national and international agendas is important.

You can LEARN more about Earth Day at EarthDay.org

You can SUPPORT the Global Plastics Treaty by signing the earthday.org petition.

You can VOLUNTEER for a clean up event, like our village litter picks. We organise two per year, we aim to do four BUT need you to volunteer and support this. You can sign up to our weekly newsletter to keep up to date with future clean-up events.
