Ranagri are an Anglo/Irish Indie Folk/Rock band. With five albums under their belts and a growing reputation for their live shows, Ranagri’s star is in the ascendent. Their last album “Tradition II” (released in July 2022) was selected by Folk radio UK as one of their top 10 albums for 2022.

Since then, their feet have hardly touched the ground as they have toured extensively across the World to Europe, Australia, Montreal and New Orleans. They have also made several major Festival appearances at Cambridge, Bloom Festival (Dublin), Montelago (Italy), Fairport’s Cropredy, Wickham, Towersey and Shrewsbury Folk Festivals. They also performed a headline slot at Costa del Folk in Ibiza.

Already in 2026, they have toured in Australia and across the UK.

Their visit to Grayshott will be part of their “Say Hello”  Tour, which they are doing in order to familiarise audiences with the brand new album they have written and hope to record with a crowd-funding campaign. They are well on the way to raising the funds needed to finance the recording, production and release of “Say Hello”.

The album explores themes of migration, identity and the enduring search for the mening of home. It is a work of depth and resonance, shaped by lived experiences and a profound sense of place.

The band are endeavouring to re-connect with their roots and origins and it will be steeped in stories of Ranagri, which is the farmland in rural Ireland from which the band takes its name and where band founder Donal Rogers’ family have lived for many generations.

Donal is a prolific song writer, singer, guitarist and producer. He formed the band and joined forces with the exceptional flautist Eliza Marshall. In turn, Ranagri recruited the Harpist Eleanor Dusdon and percussionist Jordan Murray. Using flutes, whistles, harp, bodhran, hammered dulcimer, percussion and guitars, the band are able to create a virtuosic and immersive soundscape around the vocals of lead singer Donal Rogers.

Their sound is both intricate and expansive and they are renowned for their commanding live performances. They have established a fresh and modern sonic landscape which has captivated audiences both domestically and internationally.

This will be an evening of music to savour.
