Grayshott’s Teen Recreation Area Project Update: Week 4
This is the fourth weekly update on the Skate Park project for our residents.
We are now over halfway through the project and if you have been down to the recreation ground recently you will have seen big changes this week.
The new Activity Zone play equipment has been installed and looks amazing. It’s a ninja-style frame that offers lots of activity opportunities. There is also a new ‘pole’ which is going to be the new ‘net-ball-style’ game – watch out for this being complete soon.
You will also see the new seating, picnic table (perhaps not for the winter months) and bins being installed. The old fencing has all been removed and the new fencing will be going up next week.

Finally, I think the new ‘bund’ (curved mound) around the Activity Zone looks tremendous and once this is covered in grass it creates a great amphitheatre.
As always, if you want to know more, there is an excellent display in the Parish Office setting out the project and the design as well as more information on our website.
As usual, if you have any questions please contact me via e-mail on sean.weir@grayshott-pc.gov.uk.
Many thanks
Sean Weir
